Raising Money

Raising money is not the same as making money. The difference between the two is not subtle and is rarely confused. Making money has to do with performing a job, which is created by productive individuals who utilize a set of skills that are worthy of compensation.

Raising money is accomplished by outlining a framework to achieve a common goal where money is required to support certain action steps. For example, a politician raises money to pay the expenses associated with touring a geographic region. The money raised will enable the politician fill the fuel tank as he or she pitches a socio-political ideology to a large number of voters.

I want to be a politician one day, but for now, I spend my time working in economic development. Currently, I am running a crowdfunding campaign to launch my first company. Give it a look and let me know what you think: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/consumer-driven-disaster-recovery

Thanks for reading my seventeenth blog post.
